Announced September 2, 2026 with a cinematic reveal. Public beta the same day for 1.7.4 beta-program users; stable targeted September 22, 2026. Adds a Photos library with background iPhone camera-roll backup, one-click virtual Machines (Windows, Ubuntu, Debian, Android) in the browser, multi-user private home folders, an MCP server so Claude Code / Codex / Cursor / OpenClaw can operate the box under scoped tokens, Storage Manager with FailSafe RAID and SSD acceleration, cloud import from Google Drive / Dropbox / OneDrive / iCloud / WebDAV, automatic GPU passthrough (NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, Thunderbolt eGPUs) for Ollama and Jellyfin, per-app folder permissions and external-drive app moves, Umbrel for Mac (Finder volume + Tailscale), automatic HTTPS, a rebuilt App Store, HEIC, and faster indexed Files. Minimum DIY hardware: 64-bit Intel/AMD dual-core, 4 GB RAM (8 GB+ recommended), 32 GB OS drive; Raspberry Pi 5 from NVMe/USB; VMs via EFI. Not an all-time peer of the iPhone — included here because it was requested, and because it is the most complete 2026 statement of 'bring your cloud home.'

User-requested 2026 inclusion. Best read as the polished consumer face of the self-hosted-cloud movement that Nextcloud, Synology DSM, TrueNAS, and Raspberry Pi made possible — not as a world-historical launch on par with ranks 1–20.
