Casa Malaparte

A private house on the steep, narrow rocky promontory of Punta Massullo on Capri, conceived by the writer Curzio Malaparte and built from 1938 to 1940 by master builder Adolfo Amitrano. Its block form is broken by a stepped stair that widens as it rises to a roof sun terrace with an undulating windscreen wall, becoming part of the rock's natural structure.
